Allen Duckworth

Allen came to Orlando as a teenager from the Gulf Coast of Texas. He filled his high school math and science notebooks with Marvel style comics in the hopes of working at Disney. When Allen worked as a caricature artist at local theme parks, he saw the dazzling effects of Star Wars. Inspired, he shifted his focus to special effects design, following another one of his heroes Rick Baker. While breaking into the Orlando film industry, Allen was recognized as a prodigy by the late sculptor Duane Hanson, who is world famous for creating absolute life-like human figures.
Since the early 80's, Allen's many credits have included work in Buster Crabb's last film, The Alien Dead, America's Most Wanted Unsolved Mysteries, The Adventures of Superboy, Problem Child 2, and MTV . When Allen teamed up with Dennis in the late 70s, their focus shifted to mascot characters. Presently, he is the creator and performer of KLAW, the mascot for Arena football's Orlando Predators. He also also currently designing memoribilia for such sports luminaries as Pete Rose. Allen is married and has two girls. His hobbies include movies, motorcycles, and sports memoribilia.

Dennis Phillips

Dennis is one of those guys that never could figure out what he wanted to be when he grew up. His father was a communication director for NASA during the glory years of the Apollo program and Phillips often says that he is not a rocket scientist but his dad was. Dennis' undergraduate degree was in elementary education but by the time he graduated he had become a popular 60s radio disc jockey in Washington, D.C. Within a couple of years, he had his own Children's educational TV show which featured his art talents as well as his talents at being a magician, puppeteer and ventriloquist..He wrote several books on technical theater and picked up a master's degree.
Phillips has never been far from the advertising and commercial television business. His hands were seen many times during the 70s on network television as The Magic Hands of Handi-wrap. Dennis and his wife, Cindy, founded Allied Costumes in 1975 in the Orlando, Florida area to provide quality mascot costumes for the worldwide growing market. Today, Phillips also serves as an adjunct professor at Valencia Community College in the Theater Technology program. Dennis is married with three children, a boy and two girls. His hobbies include, photography, sailboating, flying, personal computers and ham radio (NS4K).
